Course Goal / Learning Outcome

Every session introduces a real-life interesting situation/challenge. Each student builds a robot that serves the purpose. We take them through the process of understanding the real challenge, build the prototype, carry out the experiment, record the key observations, sketch the design of the solution, and derive important conclusions.

Description

This is a very special course. It’s the best way to let the student learn to build solutions creatively using technology. Each Student performs the hands-on activity of building Robot and programming it. Students gain a detailed understanding of the physics, mathematics and technology aspects involved in each activity and thereby experience the moment of enlightenment. Thereby building the conscience and natural intuition.

Every session introduces a real-life interesting situation/challenge. Students would build a robot that would serve the purpose. They would use the most popular LEGO’s WeDo2.0 set including state-of-the-art controller, design parts, sensors, motors, etc. The will also learn to program the Robot! They use the age-appropriate visual and logical blocked-based programming method which makes learning a lot more engaging and fun. Indeed they learn the fundamental techniques of programming the machines and thereby making Smart and Autonomous Robots.
